Grüblspitze (2.395 m)

Easy ski tour to the Grüblspitze (2,395 m) in the Tuxertal: This beautiful and uncomplicated tour to one of the scenic mountains of the Tux Pre-Alps is especially popular for beginners, as it can also be completed with lift support. First, enjoy the fantastic views at the summit, then take the long, moderately steep descent down to Juns, or return along the ridge to the piste and stop at one of the cozy huts, such as Berggasthof Eggalm or Lattenalm.

Ascent

From the starting point at the Rastkogelbahn, follow piste 77 for a short section, then stay along the edge of the forest, traversing moderately steep terrain. After crossing the road near Gasthof Christler, aim for the chapel between the houses. Continue past the barns and climb up to the Lattenalm. From there, head up the ridge towards the so-called Bärenabfahrt, following it down to the Eggeralm. Then, stay in the middle of the slope and ascend until you reach the top of the Beilschlepplift. Finally, follow the ridge up to the summit cross.

Descent

There are several descent options. The classic route starts from the summit cross, descending the moderately steep east ridge, passing the mountain huts, and continuing down the road to Juns. This route is often used when snow conditions are good, making it ideal for a single tour. Another descent option follows the ascent track along the ridge back to the Beilschlepplift, then continues on the piste. This is a great choice for beginners or an alternative in case of poor snow conditions.
